I have a great recipe to share.This is really one of my very favorites.
East Onion Dill Bread
3 cups flour
11/4 cup milk
2tsp.dried dill seed
2tsp.instant minced onion
Combine one half the flour with the yeast .Heat milk,sugar,butter,dill seed,onion,salt until it reaches a temp. of 115-120. Stirring well as it heats.Add to flour mixture.Add egg.Beat with electric mixer on low for 30 seconds.Beat 3 minutes on high.By hand stir in remaining flour.
Cover,let rise until double(30-45 min). Stir down.Spread evenly into greased 9x5x3 pan.Cover and let rise until nearly double.
Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.Cover loosely the last 10 minutes if it browns to fast.
