Herbal Wreaths

I have been searching the web and have found some great herbal wreaths.All of which would be beautiful this any time of the year. Here are a few I found.

Sunday

Sunday was the first time for me to be at the Christmas event at the Museum.I was happy to see everybody.Lucy did her usual great job of coordinating things and Jan was a big help also.Rita and Jan brought in a huge amount of greens for us to use.They really made the angels and mittens look beautiful.Sara and Norma helped with the food.Bunny was amazing helping the children.Rose and Mary helped were ever they were needed.We had more helpers but sadly I have not sure of their names but I think Caroline and Kimberly.Just give me a little time here and I will get to remember everyone.If I have forgotten anyone please forgive me.
There were lots of people in attendance and I think the children really enjoyed everything.I was really amazed at all that went on.

Sweet Lemon Bars

1/4 cup confectioner's sugar
1/2 cup butter
1cup unbleached flour,sifted
2 eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
juice of 1 large lemon
1tsp. fresh minced lemon thyme or 1/2 tsp. dried
Preheat oven to 350F. Cream the butter and sugar.Add the difted flour,blending smoothly.Using your fingers,press the mixture into an 8x8 inch pan.Bake 20 min.Beat together the eggs, sugar, baking powder, salt, lemon juice, and lemon thyme.Pour over crust and bake another 20 minutes.
Cool.the cut into squares.
